Live voting that feels fair: categories your audience trusts

Voting turns an audience into participants, but the moment people suspect the count, the magic is gone. Fairness is a design problem, and you can solve it before the first vote lands.
Keep categories distinct and mutually exclusive so no contestant competes against themselves. Publish the rules where everyone can see them, and let the running tally stay visible. Transparency is not a risk, it is the product.
When the stakes are real, so is the scrutiny. A public leaderboard, a clear close time and a receipt for every vote will do more for your credibility than any amount of marketing.
